Biography: Jeremy was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada but spent his early years growing up near Kingston. At a young age he was introduced to the possibilities of using Chroma-Key technology at the local high school where he quickly mastered all the production tools available to him. Before long, he built a small production company and began shooting and editing both student and corporate videos. Through this knowledge base, he was quickly called upon by Queen's University on several occasions to educate students A/B Roll Editing on linear systems. After high-school, he hitch-hiked to Toronto and after finding a footing - gained his first job in the professional film world that led to him being a personal assistant to Robert K. Weiss for the Saturday Night Live (1975) 'Broadway Video' of the product  (see all) ions The Ladies Man (2000) and Superstar (1999) (reshoots). Though he did not shine in this capacity - he was mentored by some of the industry's best which helped build the foundation that has spanned more than 25-years in the business. During the DotCom Wave - Jeremy was instrumental in a lot of Internet "first's" including engineering and deploying the world's first 'Live to Web' Casting Studios (utilized for countless feature films during the early 2000s) and the first simultaneous 'Live-to-Air/Live-to-Web Interactive Webcast' for Veterans Affairs Canada, commemorating the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Since then he has been a key player in the Canadian film industry - producing dozens of commercials including 14 short spots that opened the Cannes Lions Festival in June 2016. The music video production of City and Colour: Wasted Love (2015) by Director X, produced by Jeremy, was nominated for Video of the Year at the 2016 Much Music Video Awards. In December 2018, a feature documentary he managed, Saving the Mustang, North America's Horse on the Brink (2011), won 'Best in Class' at the EQUUS Film Festival in New York. One of Jeremy's core strengths is being called to produce foreign co-productions for a long list of clients spanning the globe, including producing arctic footage scenes in Western Canada for an Award Winning Norwegian feature film Operation Arctic (2014) - specifically filming with Agee the Polar Bear - the only film-friendly polar bear on the planet. In 2015, he was called on for a last minute rush pickup of producing action scene's for Cineville's Female Fight Squad (2016) with Dolph Lundgren. Most recently he has also personally helped finance two Canadian productions, the feature film FSM (2015) directed by Melanie M. Jones and a new web-series My Roommate's an Escort (2017), written and directed by Katie Uhlmann and Trish Rainone-DiLuzio. He was also instrumental the 2017 Invictus Games Toronto for Prince Harry hosted by DOME Productions. In September 2018, he line produced and production managed the independent feature film A Song for Us (2021) by Peter Hitchcock. Recent scripted productions include Orphan Black: Echoes and Season 2 of the highly acclaimed SONY series ACCUSED. Seeing the "big picture" - he specializes in script breakdown/scheduling and budgeting for scripted content... and excels at taking the helm and steering these productions through to completion. His newest venture, Get2ThePoint Productions Inc. is geared towards building the production industry in Frontenac County. 2025 will see the inaugural year of the branded live event venue 'Line Spike Frontenac'.
